What Can We Work On?

Living with our dogs doesn’t always go quite as planned! Puppies grow up, adolescents test the waters, rescue dogs may need a little extra help and support as they learn to feel safe and comfortable in their new world…and sometimes behaviors seem to pop up out of nowhere.

Training isn’t only about fixing problems. It’s about understanding your dog, helping them understand you, and building practical skills that make everyday life together easier and more enjoyable. And sometimes, even when things are going pretty well—you’d simply like to learn some new skills and have some fun together!

Private lessons allow us to focus on your dog, your home, and your everyday life. We’ll work through the things that may be challenging, build on what’s already going well, and strengthen the communication and relationship you share.

Training Designed for You and Your Dog

No two dogs, people, or households are exactly alike. Your lessons are built around what you and your dog need, with personalized lesson plans and detailed notes after each lesson, so you have something to refer back to as you practice.

Training doesn’t always go exactly as planned, and questions may come up between lessons. I’m here to offer support by phone or email and help you work through things along the way!

What Can We Work On?

Private lessons can be tailored to whatever you and your dog need most. That might mean working on leash manners, jumping on guests, barking, coming when called, settling in the house, polite greetings, focus around distractions, Drop It and Leave It, or simply making everyday life together a little easier.

And sometimes it’s not about fixing a “problem” at all. Maybe you want better communication, more confidence, new skills, or simply a stronger relationship with your dog. We can work on that too!

The time you spend learning and practicing with your dog is an investment in the life you share together. Along the way, you’re building better communication, strengthening your bond, and

learning skills that can grow right along with you and your dog.

Virtual Private Lesson Package — $225

Three lessons give us time to build a solid foundation, practice between lessons, and make

adjustments as you and your dog progress. That little bit of time between lessons also gives us a chance to see what’s working and what may need a little tweaking.

Looking for a little more support? After completing your private lesson package, additional private lessons are available at a reduced rate. Whether you’d like to keep building on what you’ve learned, work through something new, or simply check in from time to time, the door is always open!
